Recovery is important for the body. It gives the body time to replenish energy stores and repair damaged tissues. The type of recovery I’m talking about is beyond good sleep, nutrition and hydration. It involves giving the body an extra push to promote and elevate the body’s natural way to repair itself. This may involve a cold plunge, infrared sauna, massage, meditation or foam rolling.
