Niagara has 13 of Canada’s most romantic restaurants for 2018, according to OpenTable, which claims to be the world's leading provider of online restaurant reservations.
The company, a part of The Priceline Group, announced its list of Canada's 100 “most romantic restaurants for 2018” on Thursday, based on more than 500,000 restaurant reviews submitted for more than 2,000 restaurants.
The conclusion: Niagara “rules in romance.”
Among the 13 selected restaurants are two in Niagara Falls; seven in Niagara-on-the-Lake; two in Vineland; one in Jordan Station; and one in Grimsby.
“This year's list is the ideal guide for those looking to spark connection on Valentine's Day and beyond, featuring an array of restaurants that offer memorable experiences, from casual to fine dining,” said Caroline Potter, chief dining officer at OpenTable.

Cannery Restaurant – Niagara-on-the-Lake
The Drawing Room at the Prince of Wales Hotel – Niagara-on-the-Lake
HOBNOB Restaurant & Wine Bar – Niagara-on-the-Lake
Kitchen76 at Two Sisters Vineyards – Niagara-on-the-Lake
Peller Estates Winery & Restaurant – Niagara-on-the-Lake
Tiara Restaurant at the Queen's Landing Hotel – Niagara-on-the-Lake
Trius Winery & Restaurant – Niagara-on-the-Lake
The Kitchen House at Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery – Grimsby
Inn on the Twenty – Jordan Station
The Restaurant at Vineland – Vineland
Lake House Restaurant – Vineland
The Keg Steakhouse + Bar was also chosen for multiple locations, three of which are in the Niagara Region, two in Niagara Falls and one in St. Catharines.
