As part of the Winter Festival of Lights, Deck the Falls Holiday Walking Tour launches its second year on Friday, offering a chance to tour different venues in the tourist district of Niagara Falls, where each location will offer a different holiday-themed activity.
Activities include culinary and gourmet food sampling, holiday beverages, desserts, photo opportunities, life-sized games, live music and entertainment, craft workshops and ice sculptures.
“After the success of last year’s Deck the Falls event, we couldn’t wait to see what we could come up with this year,” said Tina Myers, executive director of the Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights, in a press release.
“It was quite the challenge to make the tour bigger and better than last year, which we believe we did by adding additional venues featuring new and exciting activities.”
Venues this year include Casino Niagara, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the Tower Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, Morton’s Grille in the Marriott Fallsview and the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse.
A new addition this year is a horse-drawn carriage ride from the Table Rock Welcome Centre to the Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse.
The tour takes place over the first three weekends of December on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
