Photo gallery: NOTL Christmas Parade 2018

Though the morning looked grey, the sun was shining on the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake as the 54th annual Christmas Parade marched through Old Town this Saturday, drawing thousands of locals and visitors to see the more than 100 entries, including many floats, animals, clowns and a number of local dignitaries and celebrities.

The parade started at 11 a.m. at King and Centre streets near the former Parliament Oak School and weaved its way through town to join Queen Street at Simcoe before finishing at the Clock Tower Cenotaph.

Thousands of people attended to see the parade.

Niagara Now put togethe a photo gallery of some of the bystanders.

The honorary grand marshal for this year’s parade was the NOTL Rotary Club, in recognition of 25 years of service to the local community and beyond.

As always, representatives of Canada Post were on hand to accept letters for Santa.
