Sometimes it’s not enough to stop and smell the roses — you’ve got to do something to pay tribute to the beauty of nature.

Members of the NOTL Arts Collective dediced to do exactly that this past weekend, when they gathered at Ronald Boaks Fine Art’s rose garden to view these fragrant perennials and capture them in works of art.

They were at the rose garden from Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23 and hard at work on their creations, painting the natural environment around them, some with acrylics, others with watercolours.

Members of the public were invited to watch these artists in their element and to enjoy these blooming beauties themselves.
