"Arts Unbound" by Music Niagara and Community Living Grimsby, Lincoln & West Lincoln is set to showcase the talents of artists with disabilities through music, dance and more. PAIGE SEBURN

This fall, Niagara-on-the-Lake residents have the chance to see fellow community members take the stage at “Arts Unbound – Celebrating Arts & Culture Beyond Limits” on Oct. 5 at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines.

Music Niagara, a non-profit known for bringing diverse music to the community, is teaming up with Community Living Grimsby, Lincoln & West Lincoln, an organization that supports people with developmental disabilities.

Together, they created a show to highlight artists with disabilities and their talents in music, dance, singing and more.

“Arts Unbound goes beyond being a performance — it’s a movement to enhance inclusion, equality and representation of artists living with developmental disabilities,” said Music Niagara in a news release Feb. 10.

Tickets will be for sale starting June 15 through FirstOntario.

Auditions are open to individuals with a developmental disability. If you want to apply, send an application to Candice Keem at ckeem@cl-grimsbylincoln.ca
