The temporary open-air burn ban recently issued by Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire and Emergency Services has been lifted due to recent precipitation and the favourable weather forecast.

All open-air burning may resume, however, it must be conducted in accordance with the guideline
available at notl.org, listed under fire and emergency services.

Open-air fire bans have also been lifted in Niagara Falls and Fort Erie.
