While Niagara-on-the-Lake has several claims to fame in this country, whether it’s the town’s historical significance, wine country or vibrant performing arts scene, its plethora of talented visual artists are slowly making themselves known to residents and visitors alike.
This weekend, many of them are set to open their homes and working spaces to the public, inviting them to view their creations and the environments they immerse themselves in while painting, crafting, sculpting and more.
The NOTL Studio Tour on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 will see the works of 29 visual artists displayed at 16 locations across town, with some opening up their home studios to invite people inside and others hosting their works at RiverBrink Art Museum, Between the Lines Winery, Ronald Boaks Fine Art and two pottery studios.
This is the third year of the NOTL Studio Tour, which began in 2024. The tours will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendance is free.
