The game was afoot at the Navy Hall at the end of the summer for the Shaw Guild’s fundraiser, “Murder Mystery at the Hall.”
The evening was one of fun and intrigue as guests tried to solve a mystery over dinner, which started with the pretend victim’s discovery outside the Navy Hall on Ricardo Street.
This event, held on Aug. 21 from 7 to 10:30 p.m., was the Shaw Guild’s second fundraising event of the year, with all the proceeds going to support the Shaw Festival Theatre.
The Shaw Guild, made up of around 400 people, is a group of volunteers that give their time and energy to support the Shaw Festival’s work, from greeting guests at the theatre doors, hosting backstage tours and post-show conversations, plus helping with special projects related to productions, such as this.
