Whether it was fuchsia, coral, blush or rouge, partygoers at this year’s Shades of Summer were all seeing life through rose-coloured glasses — or, rosé-coloured glasses.

The annual theme party gathered wine enthusiasts, friends, family members, co-workers and acquaintances together for a picnic-style dinner in downtown Old Town to enjoy a rosé-themed party.

Party guests dressed in their finest pink clothing, brought rosy decorations and decked out their tables in bespoke decor and themes and enjoyed their own meals, rosé and other preordered alcoholic drinks provided by local businesses.

After the dinner, they got to mix and mingle together on Niagara-on-the-Lake’s downtown strip, take pictures at themed booths and dance the night away.
