Suspicious bruising at group home for special needs adults leads to arrest

Police have arrested at 56-year-old Niagara woman following an investigation into a “suspicious bruising” sustained by a resident of a group home for special needs adults.

On Monday, Csilla Dorgai of Thorold was arrested and charged with the alleged offences of two counts of assault, after what police are calling a “complex investigation” that started in mid-May of this year.

Dorgai was held in custody pending a bail hearing on Tuesday at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.

Police did not releasing the name or location of the group home in an effort to keep the victim’s identify protected and to “preserve the integrity of the investigation.”
