Niagara Falls community clean sweep day set for Saturday

Rain or shine, Niagara Fall's next community clean sweep day is set for Saturday morning.

Volunteers are coming together to clean up debris scattered throughout the city's main streets, walkways, parks and trails.

Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and students can acquire community services hours.

The event starts at 9 a.m. at Mick & Angelo's Eatery and Bar parking lot.

Safety vests, gloves and garbage bags will be provided.

Anyone with suggestions for problematic garbage areas are asked to email Jeff Guarasci at, jguarasci@niagarafalls.ca.
