Two females were violently assaulted and robbed at a casino in Niagara Falls Friday.

Police say the incident occurred following an “agreed upon money exchange for services.”

The two females were transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police identified and arrested two subjects on Saturday.

Charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of robbery are 22-year old Trevon Demos of St. Catharines and 20-year-old Mary McQuoid of Niagara Falls.

Demos and McQuoid were held in police custody pending a bail hearing Sunday at the John Sopinka Courthouse in Hamilton.
