Shooting in St. Catharines leaves one injured

A man was shot in St. Catharines Wednesday night.

At approximately 8:10 p.m., officers were called to the area of Tremont Dr. and Glendale Ave. in St. Catharines following reports of gunshots.

When officers and EMS arrived on the scene, one man was located with injuries and transported to a local hospital.

The man was then airlifted to an out-of-town hospital for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police continue to investigate.
