Two women have been arrested following a stabbing in Niagara Falls late Wednesday morning that left a man with numerous stab wounds to his head and hands.

Police say the incident occurred at around 11:20 a.m. at a hotel in the area of Lundys Ln. and Montrose Rd.

Investigation revealed the man was robbed and stabbed by two women who were renting one of the hotel rooms.

Charged with aggravated assault, robbery and forcible confinement are 20-year-old Felicite Dembele-Agnes of Montreal and 20-year-old Therese Ngombabu-Ndomba of Ottawa.

The women may have been responsible for similar robberies at hotels in the city, police believe, and are requesting any other victims contact a detective at 905-688-4111 ext. 2200.
